The house was built to sit quietly in that landscape: uncluttered rooms, glass that frames the water, and a deck built for doing very little. About 30 minutes from both Kelowna and Vernon, close enough for a grocery run, far enough to forget you need one.
Big windows, low furniture, and a wood-burning stove doing the real work on cold evenings. This is where the day slows down — coffee at sunrise, wine at sunset, the fire and the lake doing the rest.

The house is built from ICF (insulated concrete form) construction with triple-pane windows, so it holds heat, blocks wind, and stays genuinely quiet no matter what the weather is doing outside. Good linen, still air, and the sound of the lake instead of traffic. Wake up early or don't wake up at all.
Floor-to-ceiling glass runs the length of the house, so the lake is never more than a glance away — from the kitchen island to the pillow.

The driveway is very steep. AWD or 4WD is required in the winter months and strongly recommended in summer. Guests without AWD/4WD are discouraged from booking.
Killiney Beach is a quiet residential stretch of shoreline, not a resort strip. Wifi is provided throughout.
La Casa Resort is a 5-minute drive away, with a convenience store, liquor store, and a restaurant/take-out on site.
Quiet hours 9pm–7am. No smoking indoors. No parties — small families and couples only.
The lake is a 15-minute steep walk downhill, or a 2-minute drive down Hodges Rd, to Killiney Beach Park (maintained by the Regional District).
The home is all on one level, with a ramp from the upper parking area to the front door. It's still somewhat tricky — though possible — for a wheelchair. We recommend occupants be able to walk a steep driveway if needed.
On the water, on the trails, or right at home by the fire — there's plenty to fill the days here.
